1. What is Caara?

Caara is a place for people who care. Shop with us and look after your home, family and pets with conscious products from exciting brands whose values align with yours.

2. Is Caara a subscription service?

No, Caara is not a subscription service, you just place an order whenever you run out of your favourite essentials or when you feel like discovering a new exciting, innovative brand.

3. What do you mean by ‘Shop by Values’?

From vegan-friendly to female-led, mainstream to independent, the brands we work with have one thing in common: a commitment to doing what’s right. And to make it easier for you to make the right choice for you, your family or your happy place, we’ve done the hard work and researched every single product, so that you can be sure that all the products in a collection meet the values that matter to you.

4. How do you decide which products to stock?

We don’t only stock products that look good, they have to do good as well! We’ve researched and curated every single product, and every brand has been attentively scrutinised, to make sure that their values align with ours. You can be sure that they are all better for you, better for your home, and better for our planet.

5. Tell me more about your plastic reduction goal

Even if we are a small company, we aim to reduce our impact on plastic pollution as much as possible. We stock a wide range of plastic free products, with exciting brands that will convince you make the switch to plastic free alternatives. Our packaging is completely plastic free, we ship everything in cardboard boxes, using paper tape and tissue paper to protect even the most delicate items. But we are also convinced that the change starts with us. So even in our office we’ve decided to ditch single use plastic, and now we’re all converted to using a reusable water bottle or to savour our morning coffee from a reusable cup.

6. Do you use recyclable shipping materials?

Yes we do! No bubble wrap in our boxes, no plastic packaging, and we’ve even switched to paper tape to make sure that every single bit of the packaging your goodies come packed in is recyclable. However, we do recommend that you try and reuse as much as you can before recycling.

1. Where do you deliver? Do you deliver to BFPO addresses/ PO boxes/ outside the UK?

We only deliver in the UK at the moment. Unfortunately we’re unable to ship to BFPO addresses or PO boxes at the moment, and we’re still working on making international delivery possible – but watch this space!

2. Is there a delivery charge?

We offer free standard delivery on orders over £40. Our standard shipping rate is £2.95 or £4.50 if you're looking for next day delivery ! Our next day delivery service is for orders placed before 12pm on any business day.

3. How long will it take for my order to arrive?

We currently offer 2 shipping options:

Standard delivery – delivery within 2-4 working days

Express delivery – next working day delivery for all orders placed before 12pm.

We’ve searched high and low for the best delivery company to work with, and we were really impressed with Royal Mail’s sustainability actions and with DPD’s commitment to reduce their CO2 emissions by 30% per parcel by 2025. So depending on the size and value of your order, you can expect your order to arrive with one of these two couriers.

4. Can I track my order?

As soon as your parcel is collected form our warehouse, you’ll get a notification from the courier with all the tracking information. You’ll be able to find all this in your account as well – just make sure you’re logged in when you place your order.

5. How do I amend or cancel my order?

As we like to do things efficiently around here, as soon as an order is received it goes straight to our warehouse team for processing. That’s why we can’t currently amend or cancel an order once it’s been placed.

6. Where can I see my past orders?

If you’ve created an account, just log in and you’ll be able to see all your past orders there. If you need a copy of your invoice, our team is always happy to help, so drop us an email or message us via social media.

7. My order hasn’t arrived, what do I do?

Contact us as soon as possible, we’ll do our best to get your order to you!

8. There is a damaged/wrong/missing item in my order, what do I do?

Something is just not right with your order? Drop us an email on or via our contact form and make sure to include any kind of photographic evidence you can provide. Our team will be happy to rectify any issues.

9. Can I exchange a product?

Unfortunately we do not offer exchanges at the moment. If you changed your mind, contact us to initiate a return and then you can place another order for the product you actually want.

10. What is your returns policy? Do you offer free returns?

Caara will offer a refund on unopened items returned to us within 28 days of receipt, provided they are in their original packaging and in a resalable condition. Please contact us to initiate a return and to receive your returns label.

11. What if I’m not home when my order arrives? / Do I need to sign for my order?

We send out orders using a tracked service, but your courier will usually offer you the option of rescheduling the delivery or having your order left with a neighbour or in a safe place, so you do not to be home necessarily and sign for the order.

12. Do you have gift vouchers / offer a gift wrapping service? Can I add a gift message to my order?

We do have a range of gift vouchers available, check our offer here…

You can also add a gift message to your order. Unfortunately gift wrapping is not a service we can offer at the moment, but leave a note when placing the order that this is a gift and we’ll make sure not to include any invoices in the box.


1. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept VISA, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

2. How long will my refund take?

Your payment for the goods will be refunded by Caara as soon as possible via the original or agreed payment method. This will be no later than 14 working days after we have received the goods/ agreed to refund.

3. Where is my refund?

Contact us if the refund is not back into your bank account within 14 working days.
